BOOT/BOO models are recognized throughout the international water sector as acceptable instruments for the financing, construction, operation, repair and maintenance of infrastructure and for the provision of public-sector services for the population. We have gathered valuable experience through our cooperation with public partners and in long-term water-related infrastructure projects and we are currently operating successful BOOT projects. A sound legal basis is a prerequisite for a public-private partnership to thrive: in BOOT models that involves a contract that defines the services to be provided by private industry and takes the legal, financial and regulatory aspects into account.
Under a BOOT arrangement, RTS takes over management responsibility for the planning, construction, and operation of a water supply plant or treatment plant or waste to energy plants, all in accordance with the technical specifications stipulated.

The biogas (methane) generated as a by-product of the anaerobic digestion process is a valuable product for the replacement of conventional energy sources like natural gas and/or electricity. It provides significant amount of revenues to industry operators. Depending on the application and source of effluent, Biogas generated from the wastewater plant requires treatment prior to use to prevent corrosion and air emissions.
RTS supplies complete biogas collection, handling, treatment, and utilization systems for the recovery of renewable energy from a variety of wastes and wastewaters.

Biogas To Electricity
For the last few years , we have focused on the Biogas based captive power generation projects in decentralised manner. The gas potential is generally available in high organic waste/wastewater water from municipal and industrial both. The produced gas is used to generate the electricity running the DG sets on dual fuel mode by the Operator. Electricity produced can be posted to grid for Electricity utilization if in excess from the industrial usages.

Since almost 60% of the world’s population lives less than 60 km from a maritime coast, seawater is poised to become one of the main alternative resources in those regions in the next several decades. In arid coastal regions, desalination can augment available water resources. It also has the advantage of reducing water dependency on other regions and eliminating the need to import and transport water over long distances
Reverse Osmosis is a proven technology for desalinating seawater, which contains almost 100 times more than the WHO-recommended amount of salt in water destined for human consumption.
Reverse osmosis membrane desalination, the water is fed under pressure through a membrane, which lets the water through but traps the salt.

During the past decade, membrane technologies have gained its momentum in the water treatment segment and are justifiably regarded as the technology of the future. This is easy to understand as they guarantee efficient and environment-friendly purification with a minimal use of chemicals. Moreover, ultrafiltration membranes have established a position in the drinking water sector due to the fact that they filter water to such an extent that it is virtually free of solids. Bacteria, parasites and viruses are not killed off, but entirely removed from the drinking water.
The technology and process involved are relatively simple, membranes representing very fine filters, which act like sieves through which water is either pressed or sucked. Any content, which is larger than the microscopic pores, is separated out and depending on the fineness of the filter, a differentiation is made between micro-, ultra- and nanofiltration. Reverse osmosis is an additional variation, in which only water molecules pass through the membrane.
RTS has been using this membrane process in combination with conventional cleaning processes for many years and due to this experience and in-house innovations, has built up a pool of comprehensive expertise. The treatment process may contain Physio-chemical, biological (Anaerobic and Aerobic) and other process steps.
In the case of biological (Anaerobic), we offer Low and high rate reactors chosen specific to the client’s needs based on the applications. We have experience of designing and building up many small- medium- large-scale plants on the basis of the world’s most frequently used UASB process. We also offer a high rate digester for medium organic strength wastewater that combined the two technologies together under an Anaerobic environment i.e UASB and Anaerobic Filter. Our innovation on the technologies continues to provide world class and most advanced solutions to our customers on account of meeting their objective completely, economization on capital investments, low operating costs, space savings.
In the case of biological (Aerobic), in accordance with the characteristics of the wastewater, we offer the activated sludge process using fine bubble diffused aeration, aerators Or jet aeration systems. In the case of high end treatment requirements, we provide membrane processes with submerged or external membranes. The major advantages of this technology is considerable savings of liquid resources, saving of space and practically recuse/zero discharge of wastewater.
